This was the scene in Munich as we headed for the airport on December 23rd. The
place was covered with snow and given my hatred for the disgusting white crap, I
was glad to be getting away. We were on our way to spend Christmas with my
family down in Calahonda. Dad had organised flights and apartments so all we had
to do was show up. ![]()
Taking a walk on the beach with Miranda & Kathrin. There weren't many people about. Mostly because it was a damn sight colder than it looked.
Jodi having a minor embolism!
One of the rare moments where I will perform in front of other people. I chose "Piano Man" by Billy Joel thinking that even I couldn't fcuk that one up. I did.
Mum of course was much better.
Excellent menu options..."Something Hot and Homemade" and so on.
Santa Claus taking Jodi for a wander.
This was all part of the Christmas tradition that started years back. Originally it was a jog down Dunlaoghaire pier and then a swim in the 40 foot. Then it was a jog down the pier. Then it was a walk down the pier. This year it was a gentle mosy around Capo Pino.
Frightening, truly frightening
That's much better
Trying to create a picture rather than just a photo...if you knows what I means.
And you thought me baring my chest was frightening. hah!
Teeming fish in the harbour at Benalmadena
Christmas dinner in Mum and Dad's apartment. Actually their old apartment. It's very hard to keep up with this property empire business.
Johnny hard at work!
Enjoying a beer in the sun after a hard round of golf. Life was really tough.
