Having gotten over the shock of Kathrin's great surprise visit to Stockholm for Valentine's weekend it was my turn to head down to Munich. Arrived in without much hassle and surprise, surprise we headed down to Kilian's for some bottles of Augie and a meat feast pizza. Ah, the simple pleasures in life.
First were Andrea and Greg, then myself & Kathrin showed up and before I knew what was going on we were about 25 people in the group.
Ahhh, my beloved. In case you don't know this is the Kilian's Meat Feast Pizza. Don't forget to ask for the fried egg as it's not standard. Kind of an optional extra if you will.
Ken is either feeding him or about to twat him on the side of the head. We'll never know the truth.
You've been Augied.
When the wimmins is happy the world is happy.
Tracy gets a proper ticking off.
This is the start of a potential new recurring theme of handbags. As an engaged man it's apparently frowned upon to take photos of girls asses. Who'd have thought? So here it is, a pink handbag.
Oh dear, it'll end in tears.
Twosies.
Worship the Augie.
Tilt to the left, tilt to the right....wasn't that a song?
"They'll never take my Precious."
A minor slipup. I didn't take the photo, honest guv.
Assorted tats.
Where would we be without our mobile phones. Two of those are mine and when I'm on-call at work I carry three. I still remember getting my first phone, a Nokia 2110 in 1998 from Esat Digifone when I worked there. Probably one of the most durable handsets I've ever had. It got bounced on concrete more times that I care to mention and never a moments trouble. It's still at home in Dublin and works perfectly.
Da Gurlz.
I liked all of these and it's so rare that I like a picture with me in it that I decided to use all of them. So there.
The ever present psychotic ball of furs and claws. Despite his relaxed demeanour Greebos still as violent as ever.
Yours truly in the snow near our apartment.
"Das Ohrenbuch". I wonder did the author get permission to use Prince Jugears or could this photo spark an international lawsuit.
These are just a couple of shots from Saturday night in Sharovar (great Indian restaurant) and drinkies in Cafe Puck afterwards.
Sunday brought us to the Twisted Bavarian for the Absolute Beginners night. Basically a few different acts including a couple of poets, a magician and the Texas Tornedo Band (don't ask). Myself & Kathrin also volunteered as judges. A responsibility taken very seriously indeed.
DJ Bubble G in full flow!
And following on from the successful handbag launch here's a snappy little number in brown with accompanying Merlot & Marly.
Prof and his magic act. First time on stage (well not entirely as he's a professional opera singer, but first time doing magic anyway) and he came in a resounding second place. Well done my friend.
A one woman Mexican wave from DJ Bubble G
Howard (I think), Papa Geno with a fantasic piece titled "In Praise of Disorganized Minds" and the 'erm Texas Tornedo Band aka Dory.
The Tea-Cosy Club's annual AGM was also taking place on the night.
Katie tackles a tequila.
The first outing for the Badger Negative.
See, that's what happens when long haired girls get too close. Didn't your mother ever warn you about it? No?
This stacking things up is a bit of an obsession.
I suspect there may be something going on between those two. I'm not fooled for a second by Kathrin's cry for help in the middle photo.
This appears to be a photo of Katie's boobs. But don't be fooled, first impressions can be very deceiving.
