New Years Eve found us at Andrea and Gregs apartment here in Munich. It was my first ever New Years (or Sylvester as it's called here) in Munich. Previous years have been in Stockholm, Vienna, Malaga, Dublin and Zimbabwe but never here. The party was great fun with a good mix of people.

We went out onto Theresienstr at about 11:45 armed with plenty of Sekt & Champagne.
Taking photos of fireworks is not an easy task, especially when you don't even pretend to be trying to hold the camera steady.
I don't drink and I don't smoke!
It was also Uta's birthday, hence the gift of the cute little rubber duck. Ok, fine, it's a misshapen potatoe with a piece of paper for a beak and tea-spoons for legs but it's the thought that counts...right?
