So it's all over for another year. Here's some photos of the work going on at the moment to take the whole place apart. Of course I could have saved myself the trouble and just shown a couple of the earlier galleries in reverse. Seems like an awful lot of effort for a two week event, but then the breweries and Munich itself make a shit load of cash out of the whole thing.

Looks like the Dublin lads have been here. Reminds be of some graffiti I saw on a bus once. A few names scrawled in marker were "Anto, Deko & Mono". Some smart ass had added after those the words "and Stereo". I liked that.

Here's some of the Fest tents. Anyone who was actually at Oktoberfest won't have seen them like this. Firstly there were a few thousand people in front of each one and secondly, you're spending your time trying to get inside and not admiring the architecture & snappy paint jobs.

And Bavaria oversees everything. "Same procedure as every year."
