Situated in the middle of the Englischer Garten, this beer garden is one of the most popular summer spots for tourists & locals alike. On the first floor of the tower itself you normally have a Bavarian Oompah band blasting out their stuff. One drawback is that you have to pay a deposit (Pfänd) on your beers which means queuing up again when you want to get your money back, but this is really only a minor inconvenience.

It's a very good spot if you've been out for a wander on a summer afternoon.
